Wether you want to Foil surf, Wing surf or Down-Wind foil, the first step is to get a lesson behind our boat at Balmoral Beach.
Ask anyone who is on the foiling journey and they will tell you the best way to get started and learn to foil, is behind a boat. Learning to ride a Hydrofoil/ Foilboard is counter intuitive to most board sports and requires a skill set best learnt in calm, open water.
We have been teaching clients how to ride a Hydrofoil behind our boat at Balmoral since 2017 and over this time we have refined the gear and our lesson to maximise Foil-flight time.
We teach Foiling behind our boat at Balmoral Beach Sydney ( 3-4 days a week at 7:15am).
COST: $180pp for your first lesson. This is a 2 hour lesson. We need two people to run a lesson. We can often find a second person if you are single.
The first lesson is about holding flight comfortably. A second or third lesson will introduce turns, pumping and crossing the wake.
COST: $160pp for you return lessons.
These are the basic skills required to start catching waves ( surf foiling), start out Wing Foiling or Down-wind foiling.
All this is best learnt on flat water in a controlled environment with an experienced instructor.
