 There are some basic skills that will really help you accelerate your learning. A lesson will save you hours of frustration.

• Our location is in crystal clear water of a beautiful sandy beach.
• We teach on hard epoxy boards and carbon paddles not inflatables and alloy paddles.
• We teach – Basic safety, Self-rescue and weather
• 3 different ways to turn and maneuvre your board
• Correct body posture and paddling technique
• Power strokes and paddling upwind
• Using your paddle for balance (this alone will save you hours of frustration)
• What board is best for you.
• The quickest way to progress from your first lesson
• FREE DEMO – we now offer free board hire or demo from the store after your lesson.

Private Lesson

the fastest way to progress with one-on-one attention. 

Private lesson $99     2 person Private Lesson – $149    3 person Private – $199

It can be taken at any time that is convenient for you and the instructor. Available at all locations depending on the conditions. With a Private lesson you typically spend 10 minutes on land and 1 hour on the water.

We offer 4 levels of Private Tuition

1. Getting Started

Get the foundations right and you can go anywhere. Everyone who takes this lesson comments on just how valuable this course is. Simple tips on balance, body alignment and stroke technique will save you hours of frustration

2. COnsolidation

FAST TRACK your way to becoming confident and proficient paddler. In this course we focus on getting the most out of your stance and stroke technique for maximum power and efficiancy.

3. SURFING SKILLS

In this course we focus on the specific skills required to get into the ocean and ride waves. Getting out through the waves, timing and getting into position are key. We also cover surfing and turning the board.

4. paddle technique for touring and racing

The paddle is a tool and mastering it is an art. In this lesson we focus on correct body alignment and paddling technique to maximise power and efficiency to get the most out of your touring or racing.

Discount hire rates are available if you wish to stay on the water after your lesson. Group lessons are run on demand.
